Conroe ISD awarded the Meritorious Budget Award

CONROE, Texas -- The Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO) announced that Conroe Independent School District received the Meritorious Budge Award (MBA) for its 2013-2014 budget submission.

“The award represents a significant achievement in budget development. It reflects the commitment of the budgeting department and the school entity to meet the highest standards of school budgeting,” stated John Musso, ASBO Executive Director.

To earn this award, Conroe ISD submitted its 2013-2014 budget for a rigorous review based on stringent criteria. The MBA criteria guide school business officials toward a quality school budget presentation by enhancing the school business officials’ skills in developing, analyzing, and presenting a school system budget.
