MCUW honors Chevron Phillips Chemical Company

THE WOODLANDS, Texas--George Mitchell’s visionary leadership and philanthropic involvement left huge shoes to fill. Montgomery County United Way continued Mr. Mitchell and the legacy of Mitchell Energy & Development Corporation by honoring Chevron Phillips Chemical Company as a 2013 Mitchell Energy & Development Heritage Award winner.

Julie Martineau, MCUW President, presented the award to Chevron Phillips Chemical CEO, Pete Cella; Public Affairs Manager, David Hastings; and Chief Information Officer and MCUW Board Member, Peggy Colsman for their ongoing commitment and outstanding contributions to the Montgomery County United Way.

This award signifies a company's lifetime achievement in our community through their efforts with Montgomery County United Way. Winners have high benchmarks to reach in giving, advocating and volunteering.

Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LP, has supported MCUW for more than ten years and is one of five remarkable partners that were awarded the 2013 Mitchell Energy & Development Corp. Heritage Award; other honorees include Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, CB&I, Praxair, Inc. and Entergy Texas, Inc.
