THE WOODLANDS, TX – The Mad Hatter Tea Party brings “Alice in Wonderland” to life at The Woodlands Children’s Museum.

Children are invited for child-friendly “tea” and to decorate their own sugar cookies with the Queen of Hearts – and to laugh and chat with the Mad Hatter. The museum also has planned “Alice in Wonderland” art projects.

The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 3. The party is included in the price of admission, which is $5 for children 2 and older.

The Mad Hatter Air Duct & Chimney Sweep Service partnered with the museum with a generous donation to help with miniature tea sets and decorations. Double P Bakery of Magnolia has generously offered to donate the cookies for the event.

Angela Colton, executive director of The Woodlands Children’s Museum, said she looks forward to the Tea Party every year.

“We get to host the characters from one of the best children’s books,” she said. “It’s a great way to encourage those budding imaginations and introduce more creative play to young minds.”

After the party, Colton said children are invited to stay and play.

“They can explore all of the museum’s current exhibits, which are carefully curated with education and enrichment in mind,” she added.

Located at 4775 W. Panther Creek Drive, Suite 280, in The Woodlands, 77381, The Woodlands Children’s Museum has a full calendar of exciting activities, recommended for ages 7 years and under. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. To learn more, visit the website or call 281-465-0955.
