Commissioner Noack to collect Toys for Tots at Dec. 3 event

THE WOODLANDS, Texas - The Precinct 3 Commissioner’s Office will host its fourth-annual Christmas with the Commissioner on Wednesday, Dec. 3 from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Tournament Clubhouse of The Woodlands Country Club. The holiday event doubles as a collection party for Toys for Tots and guests are asked to bring an unwrapped toy as their ticket to admission.

“I could not imagine waking up on Christmas morning and not having toys under the tree,” said James Noack, Precinct 3 commissioner and event host. “I want to do all I can to make sure every child receives a toy in Montgomery County. The great thing about this drive is that all toys stay in Montgomery County.”

More than 400 people are expected to attend the festivities that will feature hors d’oeuvres, various food stations and an appearance by Santa Claus. Commissioner Noack is looking for local businesses to help sponsor the event and serve as toy-donation drop sites.

“We were one of the largest collection parties in the county last year, with over 1,000 toys,” Noack says. “This year we’re hoping for even more. We’d like to collect 1,500 toys for those in need.”

Friends, neighbors and all who want to help the Toys for Tots cause are invited.
