THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Individuals once again can brighten the holidays for those less fortunate by bringing an unwrapped toy to the 32nd Annual Lighting of the Doves in Town Green Park and the 8th Annual International Winter on the Waterway (iWOW) on Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 3 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Thanks to Talisman Energy, those who donate an unwrapped toy while entering the Town Center Parking Garage for Lighting of the Doves and iWOW will receive free parking. Unwrapped toys can also be dropped off at the Talisman Energy/Interfaith of The Woodlands booth in Town Green Park during both festivals.

After Lighting of the Doves and iWOW, donated toys can be dropped off daily, November 24 – December 24, 2014 from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. at the Central Fire Station of The Woodlands – 9591 Grogan’s Mill Road; The Woodlands, Texas 77380.

“Talisman has sponsored Santa’s Mailbox for three years running, and I am amazed to see how this program has grown,” says Steve Van Howe, VP – Eagle Ford Delivery Unit for Talisman Energy. “In partnering with Interfaith of The Woodlands, we’ve been able to turn Santa’s Mailbox into an opportunity to give back to those in need in our community this Holiday season. We are honored to support this great cause.”

Talisman Energy also will serve as Presenting Sponsor for Santa’s magical appearance at Lighting of the Doves when he arrives to the festival aboard a floating sleigh on The Woodlands Waterway®. After making his way to the Celebration Stage at approximately 7 p.m., Santa will lead the crowd in a reading of “Twas the Night Before Christmas,” followed by a flip of the switch to magically light the doves that will ignite an awe-inspiring display of fireworks and lights kicking off the holiday season.
