THE WOODLANDS, Texas - The Academy of Science and Technology at The Woodlands College Park High School celebrated its 25th graduating class with an evening titled “25 Classes of Excellence” on Friday, January 9, 2015 from 6-9pm at the Wesley Hall at The United Methodist Church in The Woodlands. It was a fun filled evening with guest speakers including past and current Academy staff, Academy alumni, representatives from the community, dinner, trivia and a silent auction.

Mr. Bruce Tough, whose daughter Madison graduated from the Academy, honored the event in his official capacity as Chairman of The Woodlands Township and proclaimed January 9, 2015, to be the Day of the Academy of Science and Technology.

The Academy of Science and Technology is a magnet high school program within the Conroe Independent School District with the focus on science and technology education. If you are not familiar with the program perhaps it can best be summed up by the T*R*I*P that each student takes beginning the summer of his or her Freshman year at Fish Camp. Their T.R.I.P. is focused on Teamwork * Responsibility * Integrity * Perseverance. It is these characteristics that the Academy strives to instill in its students, and it is these characteristics that enable our students to boldly go into their future.
