Spring Arts in the Park to feature Teen Talent Show

THE WOODLANDS, Texas - Enjoy an afternoon with family and friends at Arts in the Park on Saturday, March 14, 2015, from 2 to 6 p.m., at Rob Fleming Park, 6055 Creekside Forest Drive, The Woodlands, 77389. This year the featured entertainment will be the Teen Talent Show. Talent Show contestants will complete for first, second and third place awards. Event attendees can cast their votes for the People’s Choice award of the Talent Show.

Arts in the Park is a family event and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, and picnic dinners. Local artists will offer paintings, photography, artisan foods, clothing, jewelry, toys and other handcrafted items for purchase. Children will enjoy the Kidzone with a bounce house, a craft area and other fun activities. Concessions will be available for purchase.

The Teen Talent Show is for teens 12-18 years old. The performers include singers, dancers, comedians, actors, magicians and other individual and group acts. To compete in this event, performers must submit a completed application and then audition. Applications must be received by 5 p.m. on February 13, 2015, at The Woodlands Township Recreation Center, 5310 Research Forest Drive, The Woodlands, 77381.
