Father and son team ride with Team Strike for 31st Annual BP MS 150

THE WOODLANDS, Texas - HFG Wealth Management, a local, comprehensive financial planning and wealth advisory firm, was pleased to have Chris Rasberry, COO, and his 12 year old son ride in the 31st Annual BP MS 150 ride from Houston to Austin last weekend on Team Strike, LLC. As the largest fundraising bike ride in the country, the BP MS 150 connects thousands of cyclists of all skill levels, along with volunteers and supporters, as they embark on a shared journey to drive awareness for multiple sclerosis and raise over $18 million to help those impacted by MS.

“It was an honor for my son and I to ride with the Strike MS 150 team. I enjoyed the opportunity to share this experience with my son and share in the mission and values of the MS 150. Through this experience he has learned the valuable lessons of hard work, reaching a goal and the importance of fund raising for a worthy cause,” Chris Rasberry, Chief Operating Officer of HFG Wealth Management said. “I sincerely enjoyed the training opportunities with Team Strike and the chance to experience this with my son. The memories and experiences we made together are priceless,” said Rasberry.

BP MS 150 is a two-day fundraising bike ride organized by the National MS Society. The ride is the largest event of its kind in North America with 13,000 cyclists, 3,500 volunteers and countless spectators along the route and at the finish line in Austin. The two-day ride is a 180-mile journey that starts in Houston and ends in Austin. Breakpoints are positioned every 8-15 miles. The ride begins Saturday morning at three starting points: Tully Stadium in Houston, Rhodes Stadium in Katy and Waller Stadium in Waller. Cyclists follow scenic roads into Bellville for lunch. Day One ends at the Fayette County Fairgrounds and Camp St. Mark’s overnight locations in La Grange.
