THE WOODLANDS, Texas — The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) is pleased to announce that Jennine k. Huet, DDS, MAGD, of The Woodlands, received the association’s Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition (LLSR) during the AGD’s annual meeting, AGD 2015, which took place June 18 to 21 in San Francisco.

The AGD has announced that Dr. Huet has received the Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition.

AGD members achieve LLSR by demonstrating a commitment to pursuing continuing education (CE), volunteering their services to communities in need, mentoring associates and new dentists, and participating in organized dentistry. To receive this recognition, recipients must complete at least 1,600 hours of CE and perform at least 100 hours of dental-related community or volunteer service. Only 274 of the AGD’s 39,000 members have received LLSR since it was introduced in 2005.

“LLSR recipients are true leaders who embody the AGD’s core values,” says AGD Immediate Past President W. Carter Brown, DMD, FAGD. “For Dr. Huet, this recognition symbolizes a career of excellence in dentistry. She is a role model for her fellow dentists and The Woodlands community.”

Dr. Jennine Huet graduated from University of Texas School of dentistry in 1993 and currently practices dentistry in The Woodlands, Texas. She and her husband, Alan, have 2 children, Marc and Ariane.
