THE WOODLANDS, Texas - The Legacy Lady Lions volleyball team just took on another challenging team, the Frasati Falcons, on Thursday, September 3rd. It was a tough match playing four out of five games and winning three of them. The Lions started out with a rocky start but came back strong for the last three games. Rachel Carlson led the Lady Lions with four kills and two aces. Dallas Furber also assisted the team having four digs and three aces. Brooklyn Bryant contributed to the wins having three digs. The final score for all four games was 17-25, 25-20, 25-22, and 25-21.

“The Lady Lions had a rough start and lost the first game against the Falcons but they kept their composure and won the next three games in row,” informed Coach Aimee Mullins. “I am proud that they woke up and played their game that they always play during practice. We have two more games before we start district. I am beyond excited for district and I know the Lady Lions will fight to the end and make our school proud.”

Even though they have already played a few games, this season is just getting started for the Lady Lions and they are hoping to grow stronger as individuals and as a team. The Lions take on Still Creek Christian this upcoming Tuesday, September 8th, in Bryan. Come show your support for the Legacy Lady Lions.
