THE WOODLANDS, Texas - District season has finally arrived for the Legacy Lions volleyball team. They have played six district games, winning only one so far. The first district game was against Calvary Christian. They sadly lost but played a fantastic game. Rachel Carlson helped the team with eight kills, four aces, two digs, and eight assists. Sam Furber had three kills and Sydney Rush had three kills, one ace, and six digs. Kyra Wright had three kills and eleven assists and Katie Fornero had two kills.

The Lions also lost against Brenham Christian but came back with a win last Thursday against Andrew Rodman American School. The team came together as a whole and showed their school what they are made of. Everyone pitched in in this game and finished with an outstanding win. The Lady Lions also took on Faith Academy, Lifestyle Christian School, and Calvary Christian again, but sadly lost these games.

Although the Lions have had some challenging games this season, they have grown closer as a team and are planning on carrying out their goal as 2015 district champs. Come support your Lady Lions at their next two home games on October 13th against Andrew Rodman American School, and on October 15th against Faith Academy.
