THE WOODLANDS, Texas – While everyone else is saying it with flowers this weekend, you can show your true love for your children by bringing them to “Love of Literacy,” a special book event hosted by Children’s Books on Wheels. The event will take place on Saturday, February 13 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at The UPS Store located on 330 Rayford Road in Spring.

Bring your books to donate or swap

“We’ll be providing lemonade and books for the children,” said Ritz Wiltz, Director of Children’s Books on Wheels. “They can trade in their books for other ones, or drop off their books for donation to CBOW.” Wiltz adds that UPS is the official drop-off for books donated to Children’s Books on Wheels.

Established in 2004, the mission of Children’s Books on Wheels is to promote literacy by providing books to children in at-risk, low income, rural, underdeveloped and urban cities. Children's Books on Wheels is a non-profit 501(c)(3) mobile literacy organization servicing Montgomery, Walker, Waller, Austin and Colorado counties. All services are in English and Spanish.
