THE WOODLANDS, Texas —The Pangea Network’s (an international NGO based in The Woodlands) Young Women’s Leadership Challenge (YWLC) is a six-day leadership camp designed specifically for high school sophomores, juniors and seniors. The purpose of the camp is to give young female leaders a network of inspired peers in their communities, and to learn more about the world and ways to create positive change.

YWLC brings together a diverse group of individuals who are interested in becoming better leaders and impactful global citizens. At YWLC, we cover a wide spectrum of skill sets to become successful adults, including financial literacy training, self-defense techniques, body image management—as well as debate strategy, volunteer efforts and guest speakers to inspire campers with their own stories of achievement. These speakers vary from leaders in STEM, business, research, journalism and more.

We prepare our campers to be global citizens by providing education on human rights issues and promoting a service-based work ethic. Our globally-focused curriculum helps form young people leaders who can break through glass ceilings and mentor others to do the same.

The 2016 YWLC camp will be held July 18 – 23 from 8 am – 4 pm at Rice University in Houston, Texas. We are currently accepting both campers and interns. To apply, please visit https://thepangeanetwork.org/ywlc/ or contact us at info@thepangeanetwork.org. Applications for campers are due May 25th. Applications for interns are due May 1st.

We look forward to seeing you at YWLC!
