Magnolia Parkway Chamber of Commerce holds networking breakfast

MAGNOLIA, Texas — Magnolia Parkway Chamber of Commerce held its monthly networking breakfast at Eden Café in Magnolia on Tuesday, April 12, 2016.

During the breakfast, Captain Rand Henderson was recognized as the Public Servant of the Quarter. The certificate was presented by John Chadwick of Triple J Firearms, the 2016 Sponsor for this award. Sheriff Tommy Gage provided the introductions and stated that he was pleased with the selection for his replacement and believes the County will be well served. Captain Henderson completed the Basic Academy (TPOALA) and began his law enforcement career with Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in 1994. He also attended Sam Houston State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Criminal Justice. In addition, he is a graduate of the FBI National Academy in Quantico and a graduate of the Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas. Throughout the years, he moved up the ranks and was eventually promoted to captain in 2009. Captain Henderson was nominated as our new Montgomery County Sheriff and will be sworn into office on January 1, 2016!

Chamber members and guests are invited to attend the event, where they can enjoy breakfast and network with fellow members.
