Montgomery County Sheriff's blotter: May 16-22

THE WOODLANDS, Texas — The following incidents were reported by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office between May 16 - 22.

District 2 – Lt. Jim Fleming (South County)

On May 16, Deputy R. McClintock was sent to the 500 block of Sawdust Road, in reference to a disturbance involving an intoxicated female suspect. The Deputy located the female and detained her. The 23 year old female from Spring was arrested at 12:23am and transported to jail.

A 32 year old male from Spring was arrested at 2:00am, May 17, and taken to jail from a location on Birnham Woods Drive, by Sergeant J. Barber, for a forgery warrant out of Las Vegas.

On May 17, Deputy D. Holden responded to the 200 block of Sawdust Road, in reference to an intoxicated male. The Deputy located the male and detained him. The 34 year old male from Spring was arrested at 3:32pm and transported to jail.

On May 18, Deputy B. Veith was dispatched to the 6900 block of FM 1488, in reference to an intoxicated male causing a disturbance. The Deputy located the male and detained him. The 33 year old male from Houston was arrested at 2:19am and transported to jail.

On May 18, Deputy D. Bible was notified of an assault in the 25500 block of Brookhaven. The Deputy met with a female complainant who advised her boyfriend had assaulted her and she had an injury to the shoulder area. The 18 year old male from Spring was arrested at 10:56am and transported to jail.

On May 18, Deputy W. Mayes was sent to a welfare concern in the 26000 block of Budde Road. The Deputy, on making contact with a male suspect, detained the male on possession of marijuana. The 23 year old male from Spring was arrested at 11:56am and taken to jail.

A 22 year old male from Spring was arrested at 9:40pm, May 18, and taken to jail from the 25300 block of Interstate 45 North, by Deputy R. McClintock, for a capias profine warrant.

A 28 year old male from Spring was arrested at 11:47pm, May 18, and taken to jail from the 2300 block of Rayford Road, by Deputy R. McClintock, for a capias profine warrant.

A 19 year old female from Cleveland was arrested at 9:35pm, May 19, and taken to jail from a location on Grogan’s Mill Road, by Deputy W. Sharman, for a local felony theft warrant and a possession of marijuana warrant out of Liberty County.

On May 20, Deputy R. Leverston was sent to the 25300 block of Budde Road, in reference to an assault call. The Deputy met with a male complainant who advised he and his wife got into an argument and she assaulted him. The 45 year old female from Spring was arrested at 8:23pm and taken to jail.

On May 22, Deputy P. Lopez-Carpenter was notified of an assault call in the 800 block of Rayford Road. The Deputy met with a female complainant who advised she and her ex-boyfriend had gotten into a physical altercation and the male had grabbed her around the throat. The 18 year old male from Spring was arrested at 5:06am and taken to jail.

On May 22, Deputy R. Leverston responded to the 25400 block of Interstate 45 North, in reference to an intoxicated male. The Deputy located the male and detained him. The 20 year old male from Arlington was arrested at 11:57pm and taken to jail.

District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Woodlands)

On May 16, Deputy Brown was dispatched to 1201 Lake Woodlands, in reference to a theft. The suspects, two 17 year old females, attempted to take $105.00 worth of merchandise from the Sephora Department of JC Penney’s Department store. Also located within their belongings was $421.32 worth of clothing from Altered States clothing store. Both suspects were charged with theft and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On May 17, Deputy Johnson was dispatched to the area near Deerfoot Circle and Brookflower, in reference to a possible wanted person. Upon arrival, Deputy Johnson located the suspect and positively identified him as the person in the warrant. The 20 year old male was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On May 18, Deputy Nichols was dispatched to 9200 Grogan’s Mill Road, to the Adult Probation Office, in reference to a problem during a drug test. The suspect, a 37 year old male, attempted to use a device to provide a urine sample other than his own for his drug test. The suspect was taken into custody for falsification of drug test and was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On May 19, Deputy Fleming responded to an attempt to locate a possibly intoxicated driver, in the area of Sawdust Road. Deputy Fleming located the suspect vehicle, observed it go across a grassy median, and conducted a traffic stop. After an investigation, the driver, a 63 year old male, was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On May 21, Deputy Poorman conducted a traffic stop on a speeding vehicle in the area of Woodlands Parkway and Craftwood. The driver, a 19 year old male, was found to have an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for his arrest. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On May 22, Deputy Smith, along with Deputy Cogdill, conducted a traffic stop at Academy Way and State Highway 242, on a vehicle with defective equipment. During the traffic stop, the driver, a 38 year old male, was found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
