THE WOODLANDS, Texas — The cover of the 42nd edition Interfaith of The Woodlands Community & Business Directory recently made its debut during a special unveiling. With more than 75 guests in attendance, the directory cover for 2016 was unveiled revealing children in the garden at Veggie Village at Wendtwoods Park in the Village of Creekside Park.

Photographer, Derrick Bryant, captured the children working while learning and exploring their way through the garden. Veggie Village at Wendtwoods Park is a community donation garden benefiting the Food Pantry of Interfaith of The Woodlands. In addition to providing produce for hungry neighbors, this garden is designed with children in mind. When children come to the garden they are invited to hear, touch, taste and smell their way through the garden.

“The cover is absolutely beautiful and really highlights an important program of Interfaith. We are excited to be able to once again provide this incredible resource to the residents and business community that also funds programs and services to our neighbors in need,” shared Missy Herndon, President and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands. Shannon Mills, Director of Communications and Publications at Interfaith of The Woodlands shared, “We are thrilled with the overall book and excited to provide the most complete information in print and online. All of this is possible thanks to our loyal advertisers and the outstanding, hard-working staff.”

Interfaith publishes the official information and resource directory annually, which provides a community guide to area residences and businesses. Directory information can also be accessed online by visiting woodlandsdirectory.com or through the app, Woodlands Directory. Directories have already been distributed to local residents and area businesses, and again this year, the directory was delivered with a coupon book which includes valuable coupons and savings from area businesses. Proceeds from the directory directly support Interfaith’s community Programs & Services.
