THE WOODLANDS, Texas - The Woodlands Charities Inc., is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which was founded by Nina Marino, Amy Milstead, and James Stilwell. These Community Leaders pooled their vast experience and formed the organization with a vision to hold fundraisers and bring awareness for selected Montgomery County Charities. The funds which are raised are then donated directly to the Charity. The Woodlands Charities, Inc. is also supported by an Advisory Committee of Community Leaders who provide oversight and help select the projects within the Community.

“This came so natural to each of us. We want to do something nice for the Community”, said Nina Marino who is a Commercial and Residential REALTOR® with Keller Williams Realty in The Woodlands. “The Woodlands Charities, Inc. will offer a fund-raising arm to local charities.

Amy Milstead, President of Milstead Automotive said “We will support new and established charities in Montgomery County by holding fundraisers throughout the County. It is our goal to continue helping others in our Community through our service.”

“We have so many great non-profit organizations here, and with our fast-growing County, we recognized the need now for this kind of organization which is specifically designed to raise funds and awareness for non-profit organizations in our county,” said James Stilwell, partner at Martin, Earl & Stilwell.

The inaugural fundraiser, the First Annual Halloween Party, will take place October 29, and will be hosted by Milstead Automotive located at 29707 W. Hawthorne Drive in South Montgomery County. See attachment for sponsorships and ticket information.
