Tennis player from The Woodlands High School places 5th at national event

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Woodlands High School Varsity Tennis player, Avery Hilbig, won 5th place at the USTA National L3 Tennis Tournament in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Hilbig, a freshman, competed in the Girl’s 16 & under event against players from all over the country.

Hilbig recently relocated back to The Woodlands from Tampa, Florida.

Hilbig is the #8 ranked ninth-grader in Texas on TennisRecruiting.net. She was ranked in the top 150 in the nation in the Girl’s 14 division. She plays #2 singles on the Varsity Tennis Team and trains locally with FM Tennis Academy and her private coach, Chris Faulman.
