Interfaith of The Woodlands appoints three new members to Board of Directors

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Interfaith of The Woodlands elected three outstanding individuals to serve on the 2017 Interfaith Board of Directors. Debbie Sukin, 2017 Board Chairman, announced the recent appointments of David Argueta, Ty Ann Tillman and Mary Ann Whitney.

“These outstanding individuals were selected because of their long-standing commitment to our community, passion for serving others and a desire to further our worthy mission of a more loving and caring community through service,” said Missy Herndon, President and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands.

Comprised of 27 members, Interfaith Board of Directors paid special thanks to outgoing Board Member, Roland Ramirez. Ray Sanders will now serve as Ex-Officio and Mario Coll will move to the Board of Advisors. The new Board Members will bring years of expertise in various fields to the already well-rounded Interfaith Board.

David Argueta is the President of CHI St. Luke’s The Woodlands Hospital. He is a member of The Woodlands Area Economic Development Partnership and serves on multiple boards including The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce, The Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and the Advisory Board for the Baylor University Robbins Institute for Health Policy and Leadership.

Ty Ann Tillman has a Ph.D. in Executive Leadership from the University of Texas, a M.Ed. in Administration from Southwest Texas State University and a B.A. in Education and English Literature from Texas Wesleyan University. She has extensive administrative experience with many institutions including University of Texas Charter Schools, served as Superintendent of Schools Lutheran Services, and as Adjunct Professor for the University of Phoenix. She also actively participates in her community by volunteering with many local charities.

Mary Ann Whitney is the Vice President of Finance for Waste Connections. She has held various finance positions for Wheelabrator Technologies. She holds a B.A. degree in Economics from Georgetown University and an M.B.A. in Finance from New York University Stern School of Business.
