THE WOODLANDS, TX – Steve Guinn, president/CEO of Hodges Collision Centers surprised founders of Texas Autism Academy with a $10,000 donation during the recent Hodges Collision hosted Woodlands Area Chamber Business After Hours.

The Texas Autism Academy, located in The Woodlands/South Montgomery County, is a private school dedicated to providing a unique educational plan for children diagnosed with Autism. The academy opened in September of 2017.

“Deborah and I have a beautiful grandson who has autism, and we understand the challenges families face trying to find the right curriculum and setting for their child. Unfortunately, at that time our grandson and family had to move to Dallas to find a similar curriculum as the one used by Texas Autism Academy,” noted Steve Guinn.

He continued, “Hodges Collision is happy to make this donation of $10,000 to the Texas Autism Academy. We are excited to see their growth and the tremendous impact they are having on their students, and we would love to see this organization grow and flourish in order to be able to help more children in our area.”

Cary Leakey Mollinedo, president and one of the founders said, “We were so surprised and overwhelmed that Hodges Collision would be so generous as to donate another $10,000 to Texas Autism Academy this year. We again can’t begin to express our gratitude to them. We now have 14 students and expect to have 20 students by next school year. Thank you Hodges Collision Centers!”
