CONROE, TX -- North Houston homebuyers now have more options in Grand Central Park with the opening of the Conroe community’s new South Village.

Westin Homes, Brightland Homes, Drees Custom Homes, Highland Homes and David Weekley Homes are offering floor plans in the Johnson Development community’s third village. Homes will be situated on 55-, 60- and 65-foot homesites. Pricing starts from the $300,000s.

Limited opportunities for larger homesites along the community’s Deer Lake will soon be available.

“We are pleased to continue our long-standing partnerships with these amazing builders,” said Bob Douglas, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Grand Central Park. “Each brings something different to our community, and that diversity is what makes Grand Central Park special. Homebuyers are sure to find a floor plan that meets their needs.”

South Village will bring a total of 224 new homesites to Grand Central Park. The first phase, currently under development, consists of 118 homesites. A second phase is slated to begin sales by the end of the year, followed by a third phase opening in 2024.

South Village is within walking distance to several amenities, including The Lake House amenity complex and Grand Lake. Deer Lake Park, currently under development, will feature a fishing pier, picnic area and pavilion.

South Village will also connect to Grand Central Park’s commercial district. City Central encompasses Sam Houston State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, the Marcel Boulevard mixed-use development and — coming this summer — the Hyatt Regency Conroe Hotel and Convention Center.

There are more than 1,000 homes in Grand Central Park and more than 2,200 residents. When complete, the 2,046-acre community will have approximately 1,600 homes.
