Winners announced for the annual Dosey Doe Open Mic Challenge

THE WOODLANDS, TX – A fierce but friendly competition reached its epic conclusion the other night as the Dosey Doe 2023 Open Mic Challenge finals crowned its winners.

With a packed house at Dosey Doe Breakfast, BBQ & Whiskey Bar, voting was close-called and loud as the final three performers were ranked. In third place came Jaunetta Cooper; second place was claimed by Trey Hebert; and the grand champion, going home with the first place trophy – and the chance to be an opening act next at the sister location, Dosey Doe - The Big Barn – was Sawyer Marcum.

“Thank you to all participants and spectators for your support and votes,” said Steve Said, owner of the local Dosey Does. “We’re looking forward to the 2024 competition starting February 6 next year.

The upcoming 2024 Open Mic Challenge dates will take place on the first Tuesday of each month.
