2024 Taste of the Town draws thousands of discriminating diners

THE WOODLANDS, TX – The highly anticipated 2024 Taste of the Town, hosted by The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce and presented by Visit The Woodlands, returned to The Woodlands Waterway Marriott to clamorous acclaim and a packed house of thousands of attendees wanting a taste of the best The Woodlands has to offer in food and drink..

The Taste of the Town event has been a Woodlands area mainstay for years, where dozens of restaurants, bars, eateries, dineries, and vendors set up shop to allow the attendees sample their wares. For a couple of years, COVID compelled organizers to change the one-night, one-location event to a weeks-long scavenger hunt style setup, but this event saw the second year as a return to the grand ballroom of The Woodlands Waterway Marriott.

JJ Hollie, president and CEO of The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce, felt that this could have been the best Taste of the Town to date. “This was another huge success, with more than 40 restaurants and in excess of 3,000 attendees,” he said. “Once again, this was such a great chance to feature The Woodlands’ culinary community and for people to make meaningful connections.”
