Alert-Heavy Law Enforcement Presence at 1300 Riley Fuzzel Road

SPRING, TX -- Alert-Heavy Law Enforcement Presence at 1300 Riley Fuzzel Road Update-12:00 pm On March 26, 2024, MCTXSheriff units responded to the Spring Creek Greenway Nature Center located at 1300 Riley Fuzzel Rd, Spring, TX, in reference to a welfare check of a person. The Deputies attempted to intervene, but regrettably, the adult male chose to take his own life in his vehicle in front of law enforcement and is deceased. School-aged children at the Nature Center did not witness the incident and are safe, and will be leaving to return to their respective schools. This incident has prompted Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators to initiate an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death. The investigative units will continue to examine the scene diligently. We kindly request that the public avoid the area to facilitate the ongoing investigation.
