MCTX Sheriff Deputy Recognized as DWI Officer of the Year

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce that Deputy Joseph O’Neill has been awarded the DWI Officer of the Year award by the Montgomery County District Attorney during the 2024 “Vehicular Crimes Awards”. This award recognizes Deputy O’Neil's exceptional commitment to protecting the public from intoxicated drivers, going above and beyond the normal call of duty.

Thanks to the efforts of Deputy O'Neill, potential innocent victims were saved from the life-altering and often life-ending tragedies associated with DWI incidents. Montgomery County is a safer place, thanks to the dedication and hard work of Deputy O'Neill and all of our deputies who strive every day to make our community a better place to live, work, and play.
