Early voting now underway for May 4 joint election

THE WOODLANDS, TX – Early voting for the joint election for several Montgomery County and Woodlands area seats started today. From now through next Tuesday, residents can cast their ballots at one of several available polling locations. The joint election day itself will be May 4. The election covers numerous city and school district elections.

Polling locations are open Monday, April 22 - Saturday, April 27 from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Monday, April 29 - Tuesday, April 30 from 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. During the early voting period, votes can be cast at any of the nine available polling centers:

  • North Montgomery County Community Center – 600 Gerald Street, Willis
  • Lone Star Community Center – 2500 Lone Star Parkway, Montgomery
  • West Montgomery County Community Development Center – 31355 Friendship Drive, Magnolia
  • East Montgomery County Fair Association Building – 21675A McCleskey Road, New Caney
  • Central Library – 104 I-45 North, Conroe
  • Magnolia Event Center – 11659 FM 1488, Magnolia
  • Spring Creek Greenway Nature Center – 1300 Riley Fuzzel Road, Spring
  • East Montgomery County Community Development Center – 16401 First Street, Suite 100, Splendora
  • Shenandoah Municipal Complex – 29955 I-45 North, Shenandoah

On Election Day, voters must cast their ballots at their precinct polling station only.

Multiple issues are on the ballot, including: Montgomery Central Appraisal District Board of Directors; trustee positions in Cleveland and Montgomery Independent School Districts; Willis ISD bond propositions; various mayoral and city council seats for the cities of Cleveland, Conroe, Magnolia, Oak Ridge North, and Panorama Village; East Montgomery County Improvement District directors; and multiple MUD seats and propositions.
