LPC/LCSW/LMFT
The Woodlands Family Counseling Center is growing and is seeking a Licensed Therapists to provide outpatient therapy for individuals and families, primarily for children and adolescents. In this position, you will meet with clients, analyze their mental health status, and develop a course of therapy to address their issues. We provide intake, billing, internet, EMR software, advertising/marketing and a fully furnished office, including use of a shared waiting room, coffee bar and restroom. The right candidate will also be comfortable with a short ramp-up period to build up a client base. You will see clients during daytime and evening hours, but with some scheduling flexibility based on your preference. Teletherapy is an option for clients when appropriate for their needs, but this is not a remote position.
Responsibilities
• Provide counseling primarily to children and adolescents and their families.
• Complete intake assessments and write treatment plans.
• Meet with patients regularly and provide them with the tools they need to overcome their issues.
• Document therapy sessions using client management system (Theranest).
COVID-19 Considerations:
• Clinicians can choose what precautions they would like to take with their clients. We encourage clinicians to take measures that allow them to feel safe providing services, including requesting their clients to wear masks or offer telehealth.

• Familiarity with private practice setting.
• Proficient with patient charting. We will train you to use our EMR system.
• Must be comfortable working with ages 5 and up.
• Must provide two professional references.
