THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Get in the holiday spirit a little earlier this year – and support a worthy cause.

The Woodlands Children's Museum, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting culture, health and creative play, will have its own booth at the 12th Annual Fall Home & Garden Show The Woodlands where they will be taking orders for fresh holiday wreaths.

The event, featuring fresh ideas and resources to spruce up your home, is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, August 23 and 24, at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center located at1601 Lake Robbins Drive.

The museum invites visitors to celebrate “Christmas in August” where attendees at the Home and Garden Show can reserve a gorgeous, fresh Frasier fir double full holiday wreath for $79. There will also be table centerpieces for $35 each. The museum will continue taking orders well into the holiday season.

The Woodlands Children’s Museum will also offer a free take-home art activity for children attending the show.

“Celebrating Christmas in August allows families to prepare for the holidays,” the museum’s executive director Angela Colton said. “This fundraiser gives residents in the area an opportunity to support their local museum’s educational exhibits and events – while at the same time sprucing up their home for the holidays.”

The Woodlands Children’s Museum, located at 4775 W. Panther Creek Dr. Suite 280, offers a full calendar of exciting activities and a number of outreach programs for the community.
