2015 Gran Fondo bicycle ride cancelled

THE WOODLANDS, Texas - The Steering Committee of the 2015 TWFG Insurance Services Gran Fondo: Texas TMCO announces that this year’s ride is cancelled.

The primary consideration of any bicycle ride is the safety of the participant riders. After an exhaustive effort to find safe routes in the area surrounding The Woodlands, Texas, it was the determination of the Steering Committee, a group with collectively over 200 years of cycling experience, that roads offered and approved by various governmental agencies would not meet the safety standards of the Steering Committee.

All fees paid by riders to date will be fully refunded.

Planning for the 2016 TWFG Gran Fondo: Texas TMCO ride has already commenced. We remain committed to providing a fun, challenging and safe ride for the cycling community in the future and look forward to hosting all riders in 2016.
