THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – The 13th Annual Spring Home & Garden Show The Woodlands will be held at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center, 1601 Lake Robbins Drive, on Saturday and Sunday, March 7 and 8, 2015.

Annual show has the cure for spring fever.

“Homeowners who want to add some color to their landscapes definitely need to put the Spring Home & Garden Show on their schedules,” said Tony Wood, president of Texwood Shows Inc., producer of the spring and fall home and garden shows in The Woodlands. “Whether they are in the market for flowers, vegetables, bushes or trees, we will have a specialist available to offer expertise in almost everything that grows in Southeast Texas.”

On Saturday only, Nature’s Way Resources, an organically based service company, will feature a variety of native and unique plants at its in-show garden center located in the circle drive outside the front entrance to the show. The center will feature more than 100 types of organically grown plants for sale – from flowers to vegetables to fruit trees – with many available at a discount through a one-time-only spring show special. And on Sunday the Grogan’s Mill Farmer’s Market will be on-hand to sell its locally grown produce, jams, natural home and pet products, soaps and lotions.

On both days, those attending the show will have an opportunity to visit with experts from Stewart Land Designs at its feature landscape exhibit. The company specializes in using a home’s natural environment to create a unique and functional outdoor living space, which includes services for pools, patios, landscapes, arbors and horticulture management.

And for serious gardeners, the 13th Annual Spring Home & Garden Show The Woodlands will provide an opportunity to win lunch for two with NewsRadio 740 KTRH’s Randy Lemmon. In addition to lunch, the winner will receive two tickets to the show and an autographed copy of Lemmon’s book, “1001 GardenLine Questions.” For more information and to register, visit WoodlandsShows.com.

Tickets for the Spring Home and Garden Show are $9 for adults, $8 for seniors, and children 12 years and younger can attend for free. Free covered parking is available in the parking garage behind the convention center next to the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion at Six Pines and Lake Robbins. After parking take the pedestrian skywalk connected to the 4th floor of the garage that will lead you to the hotel/convention center. Follow the show signs that will direct you to take the escalator down to the lobby and the show entrance.
