THE WOODLANDS, Texas - The week of March 2 to 8, Monday through Sunday, will be repetitive with no less than a 40 percent chance of rain on any day, and as high as a 70 percent chance next weekend.

Daytime temperatures will fluctuate from the high 60s, dropping to as low as 40 on Thursday. The overnight temperatures are expected to drop to the low 30s Wednesday night, and not exceed 40 degrees over the weekend.

Once again, you’ll have to bring the outdoor pets indoors, and cover any vegetation that’s managed to survive this winter’s cold weather.

The only reprieve from the cold is expected Tuesday afternoon, with a high of 75 degrees, but then it was expected to reach the 70s this weekend, so just plan on another cold, but rainy week, and take solace in knowing that spring is just 19 days away.
