THE WOODLANDS, Texas – The merriment of the holiday season has arrived, and The Woodlands Mall is buzzing with great retailer offers at every price point, family-friendly activities and memorable holiday experiences. For early-bird shoppers or last minute procrastinators, The Woodlands Mall is a one-stop holiday destination that’s sure to make this season “the most wonderful time of the year” with more than 140 specialty retailers and restaurants for shopping, dining and entertainment.

Black Friday Sales Start Thanksgiving Day, November 26 at 6 p.m.


It’s the day eager holiday shoppers wait for all year. With retailer discounts and must-have merchandise, The Woodlands Mall opens at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day to give shoppers the jump on some of the season’s best offers. The center opens at 6 p.m. Some stores, restaurants and entertainment venues at The Woodlands Mall may keep different hours on Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday. Special Opportunities with Santa


Visits with Santa: Santa Claus is at The Woodlands Mall every day through Thursday, December 24, ready to greet visitors and listen to holiday wishes of kids both young and old. His elves will be nearby, prepared to lend a helping hand and snap a commemorative photo. Find Santa nestled in his Holiday Living Room on the lower level near Macy’s.

My Time with Santa: New this holiday season, guests can reserve their visit with Santa online and save 30% or more with their pre-purchase of a photo package. Reservations can be made from the Photos with Santa feature on the mall’s web site at www.thewoodlandsmall.com . Reservations are not required to visit Santa.

Donuts with Santa: Santa’s serving donuts on Saturday, December 5 from 8:30 to 10 a.m. in the Food Court. Along with the refreshments, kids get a chance to visit with Santa in an informal setting and listen as he reads a story. Towards the end of the party, Santa will lead all his guests to the lower level near Macy’s, where he will settle in and be ready for guests and photos. PJ Tuesdays: On Tuesdays, November 17, 24 and December 1, 8 and 15 from 6 to 9 p.m., kids are invited to wear their pajamas for a cute, cozy photo with Santa. Santa’s elves will be on hand to capture the moment.

Family Photo: While in line to see Santa, guests can stop and have a quick holiday photo taken of the whole group against a festive background. The family portrait photos will be available to see and purchase when viewing the photos taken with Santa.

Pet Photos with Santa: The Woodlands Mall hosts Pet Nights on Mondays, November 16 through December 14 from 6 to 9 p.m. Cats and dogs on a leash or in an appropriate carrier only, please. Animals, other than those servicing the disabled, are not allowed in the shopping center other than during Pet Night. Pet owners are asked to use the acorn entrance on the lower level by Macy’s.

The Season of Giving – The Woodlands Mall Supports The Salvation Army Angel Tree


Beginning Friday, November 6, shoppers are invited to choose an angel from The Salvation Army Tree and provide a gift for that child or senior citizen. Gifts can be dropped off at the Angel Tree, in Center Court near Banana Republic, through Friday, December 18.
