MONGTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas — The announcement that motion picture and TV icon, Chuck Norris, is coming to The Woodlands on Monday, February 15, has exploded on Montgomery County Facebooks. Angela Napolitano, wife of Chief Jim Napolitano, who is the leading candidate for Montgomery County Sheriff in the Republican Primary, reports that 2,400 invitations have transpired as of today between Facebook friends. The reaction is a response to the announcement that the “Trigger the Vote” rally is free and open to the public. It was posted last Thursday, January 25 on Napolitano’s Facebook www.Facebook.com/USSSProfessionals and is averaging as many as 700 invites each day.

Local residents are getting hyped on social media after hearing that Chuck Norris will be at an endorsement event

The “Trigger the Vote” campaign rally featuring Chuck Norris and Chief Napolitano will be presented at The Marriott Woodlands Waterway Convention Center. Norris, long-time star of “Walker, Texas Ranger” and 23 action motion pictures, will travel to Montgomery County specifically to endorse Napolitano for Sheriff. Rally activities will include live music, games, souvenirs, tea parties, election information, fund raising, and plenty of political oratory from the principals and invited personalities.

Early voting starts the next day, Feb. 16 and runs until February 26. Election Day is Tuesday, March 1. Napolitano is currently Chief of Police of the City of Montgomery. As a veteran U.S. Secret Service Special Agent (retired), he was charged with protecting four U.S. Presidents, including Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. He has also worked on international cases with the CIA, DEA, and Special Forces. Napolitano said he picked Monday, February 15, to stage the rally because it is Presidents’ Day.
