HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - Harris County residents & businesses are urged to submit damage reports to the Harris County Flood Control District. For Harris County residents...

Flood damage can be reported using this Home Flooding Report form.

This report is designed to assist the Harris County Flood Control District and the Harris County Public Infrastructure Department in determining what areas have experienced structural flooding so damage assessment teams can quickly deploy to those locations in the wake of a flood event. (The report is not to be used to report water inundation from roof leaks or plumbing failures.)

In the event of a disaster declaration, contact information for relief agencies will be listed at www.readyharris.org. As always, for emergency assistance, dial 9-1-1. Flood recovery assistance is available. Dial 2-1-1 or 1-800-451-1954.

For Montgomery County residents...

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas - Residents who sustained damages from the more recent Memorial Holiday weekend storms are asked to fill out a residential or business damage report so that the Montgomery County Office of Emergency Management can accurately assess the damages and prepare the necessary county damage assessment. Failure to do so could result in underestimating the extent of the damages.

Congressman Kevin Brady has appealed to Texas Governor Greg Abbott to declare another major disaster for the Texas counties impacted. See related article:
