The Woodlands insurance company aspires to inspire at upcoming film festival

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Woodlands-based Twico insurance company will support the first-ever Inspire Film Festival.

As the newest insurance company created by Gordy Bunch, President and CEO of The Woodlands Financial Group, Twico will sponsor the event’s first and one of the most anticipated films, “Landfill Harmonic,” 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24 at The Woodlands United Methodist Church.

“We are proud to sponsor the extraordinary story behind the film and hope you will all join us for this and other films celebrating the human spirit,” said Alex Bunch, chief creative and marketing officer of The Woodlands Financial Group.

Special guests at the showing include members of The Recycled Orchestra of Cateura, who will perform after the screening with The Woodlands Symphony.

The Inspire Film Festival runs Feb. 23 through Feb. 26 and features unique films at multiple venues in The Woodlands. It is the first festival of its kind to exclusively feature films, filmmakers, special guests and performances that celebrate the human spirit.

The Woodlands resident and Festival Director Jane Minarovic has arranged for featured performers and directors to be available for panel discussions following each film, and for pass holders to enjoy informal meet and greet events surrounding the film presentations.
