THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Life just got a little sweeter for four men serving in the military.

Integrity Comfort Solutions, a Woodlands-based heating and air conditioning company, recently purchased 130 boxes of Girl Scout cookies to send to Gage, Zane, Skyler and Sean Mullis.

The four brothers are originally from Montgomery, TX.

Gage is currently stationed at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii, serving on the submarine USS Bremerton. Zane is with the Marines at the U.S. Embassy in South Sudan, Africa. Skyler is with the Navy and was recently reassigned to Houston, where he processes new recruits. Sean is in the Air Force, currently studying to be a mechanic in San Antonio.

All four boys will receive plenty of Girl Scout cookies to share with their military colleagues.

"I'm a veteran myself," said Integrity Comfort Solutions General Manager Johnny Kerr, adding that the company is made up of 23 percent veterans in the office and 62 percent in the field. "I served in the Air Force, as did my wife. So when the opportunity came up that we could donate to service members, we were all over it. But I also feel it's important for the kids to see that if you're in a place to do something good for others, then that's what you should do."

The cookie purchase of $520 also helped Girl Scout Troop 10822 of San Jacinto Council meet their fundraising goal.

"It's a win-win-win," Kerr said. "The troop met their goal, the service members get cookies, and we got to participate in something very meaningful."
