HS Football: College Park Names Kyle Coats Head Coach and Athletic Director

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Conroe Independent School District Board of Trustees is expected to announce the approval of the new Head Coach and Athletic Director for College Park High School. Kyle Coats, former DeSoto Co-Defensive Coordinator will take the place of Lonnie Madison who is now the Head Coach and Athletic Director of Bridgeland High School.

Coats’ coaching career stretches for over a decade including Universities such as the University of Texas, where he was a defensive analyst under defensive coordinator Todd Orlando. During his time at DeSoto, Coats helped coach the Eagles to a state title in 2022 under Claude Mathis.

With such a prominent coach who has state title experience, College Park looks to climb the ranks in 13-6A to hopefully make a run at the state title.
