Families Mingle at ‘Deck the Pines’ in Woodforest

MONTGOMERY, TX -- Families mingled and jingled at the 2nd annual “Deck the Pines” holiday celebration in Woodforest’s Pine Market.

The 40-acre retail center set the scene with holiday decorations, a majestic Christmas tree and festive activities.

“We love going all out for the holidays,” said Natalie Rosser, Director of Marketing for Woodforest. “The lights, the decorations and the looks on children’s faces when they see Santa is wonderful. The event was also a great way to introduce people to the new businesses that have recently opened in Pine Market.”

Children were invited to pet live Nativity animals, bounce in an Elf-themed inflatable and slide down a polar bear slide. Elves juggled fire and rode unicycles. Other activities included a mechanical reindeer, face painters and balloon artists.

Christmas carols were sung by the Oak Hills Jr. High choir. Students from Premier Martial Arts performed a choreographed routine. Students with Woodforest Dance Company surprised attendees with a flash mob dance.

Pine Market businesses added to the fun with raffles, special sales and family activities.

Pine Market is located at 791 Fish Creek Thoroughfare in Montgomery. The retail center is anchored by Harvest Market and features more than 30 businesses, including the recently opened Conroe Golf Carts and Bespoke Cigar Lounge and Social Club.
