CONROE, TX -- Grand Central Park continues to expand with builders making more homes available in the Conroe community’s South Village.

Sales have begun on 147 new homesites. Coventry Homes, Highland Homes, David Weekley Homes, Drees Custom Homes, Perry Homes and Westin Homes are offering floor plans for homes situated on 40-, 45-, 50-, 55-, 60- and 65-foot homesites. Pricing starts from the mid $300,000s.

In addition, J. Patrick Homes and Jamestown Estate Homes have expanded their offerings in the South Village to include new 70-foot properties. Thirty homesites are available with designs priced from the mid $600,000s.

J. Patrick Homes and Jamestown Estate Homes also offer custom and semi-custom homes on 75-foot and 80-foot properties in the new Deer Lake Estates, a limited-opportunity encalve that features spacious homes. Pricing there is from the $750,000s for designs starting at 3,400 square feet.

“It’s exciting to watch Grand Central Park grow,” said Bob Douglas, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Grand Central Park. “Our builders offer so many home choices. Whether buyers are looking for something small or want to build a custom home, there is sure to be a floor plan that meets their needs. What’s wonderful about the South Village is that so many of our amenities are just around the corner.”

South Village is within walking distance to The Lake House amenity complex, Grand Lake and Deer Lake Park. Coming enhancements to Deer Lake Park will include a kayak launch, pavilion, fishing dock, hammock grove, outdoor table games and open lawn space.

An expansion of South Village also connects to Grand Central Park’s commercial district. City Central encompasses the Sam Houston State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, the Marcel Boulevard mixed-use development and the Hyatt Regency Conroe Hotel and Convention Center.

There are more than 1,000 completed homes in Grand Central Park and more than 2,800 residents. When complete, the 2,046-acre community will have approximately 1,600 homes.
