Job Description

Required Schedule Availability:

• Typical work Schedule includes Friday, Saturday, Sunday plus 1 day during the week.
• Up to 5 days a week during all school breaks (ex: Summer, Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring Breaks).
-PTO must be requested with at least 1 month of notice.
• Required Holiday Weekends (must request off with at least 1-month notice).
-Memorial Day Weekend
-Labor Day Weekend
-Independence Day Weekend
-Halloween
-President's Day Weekend


Summary of Duties:
• Provides support by performing the following duties of The Woodlands Township Adventure Course. Ensures a safe participant experience and provides excellent customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Welcome and assist participants or direct them to the appropriate staff member, including fitting participants with harnesses, helmets and other required gear.
• Provide on course assistance to participants which includes but is not limited to: addressing questions/fears, spotting issues with gear, and assisting participants off the course if not able to continue.
• Answer phones; answer routine questions or direct calls to appropriate staff member, take messages as needed.
• Perform cash handling duties, make change, and input fees and issues receipts. Record amount received and prepares report of transactions using computer software.
• Monitor participants of the Adventure Course to ensure orderly conduct and participants are following Course rules/regulations.
• Assist participants in their Adventure Course experience which includes but is not limited to: rescues, talking participants through a difficult obstacle, managing participants and the flow of course traffic, etc.
• Provide information on programs, activities and events in person or by phone.
• Provide general clerical support including typing, filing and copying.
• Utilize company software to enroll participants in programs.
• Receive and issue recreation equipment (helmets, harness, carabineers, etc.) and supplies.
• Input data into computer for registration process.
• Perform facility opening and closing procedures, such as ensuring the facility is secure and ready for the next days operation.
• Assist with Course programs, activities, special projects and events as required.
• Safety sensitive position subject to the Random Drug Screen Policy.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills Required

Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: No related experience or training required.
Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver's license.
Physical Demands: Must be comfortable climbing and working at heights of up to 50ft.
Age Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age by hire date.

Compensation:

$15.53 Hourly
