Job Title: Purchasing Assistant

Established Custom Home Builder seeking a purchasing assistant.

Position Overview: As a Purchasing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our procurement processes. You will work closely with our purchasing team to coordinate purchasing activities, maintain accurate records, and assist in sourcing quality products and services at competitive prices.

Responsibilities:
Assist in the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for operations.
Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and obtain quotes.
Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
Coordinate with suppliers to resolve issues and ensure adherence to contract terms.
Assist in negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
Monitor inventory levels and participate in inventory management activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support purchasing needs and objectives.
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in procurement.
