THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Former Texas A&M Quarterback and current NFL player Jerrod Johnson has teamed up with Legends Sports Complex to help bring top level football training and education with a newly integrated Quarterback/Wide Receiver School set to start on February 11. “The purpose of our quarterback classes is to take young men who are serious about achieving their maximum potential and teach them how to improve their game in all phases of playing the position,” Johnson states, just one of the pro level instructors for the Keith Blackmon affiliated Quarterback/Wide Receiver School. “Win championships, set records, acquire scholarships; become a better quarterback on & off the field.”

Keith Blackmon (KB3) will head the quarterback and wide receiver Passing School. KB3 is an accomplished former Offensive Coordinator and Quarterback coach. Along with his pro level instruction staff, KB3 has crafted a training regimen that covers all of the essential aspects of passing. The school is split into two different, yet necessary focuses. First is hands-on instruction. Hands-on instruction includes working drops, throwing motion, pocket awareness, hand offs, and speed. The second focus concentrates on film study, which is an indispensable skill set for any quarterback or wide receiver hopeful.

The Quarterback and Wide Receiver School will begin with a four week Beginner Class for grades 3 -6 Beginner Class starts February 11 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Legends Sports Complex - 602 Pruitt Road, The Woodlands, TX 77380. On March 6, a six week Intermediate Class for grades 7-11 will be taking place from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., also at Legends Sports Complex.
