Music in the Park presented by Arts in the Park

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- On Sunday, September 21, 2014, The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department’s Arts in the Park will present Music in the Park, celebrating the return of The Woodlands Symphony Orchestra.

The event will take place on stage at the Lodge at Rob Fleming Park at 6055 Creekside Forest Drive in The Woodlands. The Woodlands Symphony Orchestra, performing “Come Together,” will be joined by Houston cover band, Beetle. The program will end with an encore performance of “Hey Jude.”

This special edition of Arts in the Park is scheduled from 3 to 7 p.m. School of Rock, Julianna Banks and Let Them Drum will kick off the evening with performances. The Woodlands Symphony Orchestra along with Beetle will begin at 6 p.m.

Families are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, and picnic dinners to enjoy the music of the evening. The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department will be on site with giveaways, as well as information regarding upcoming events and volunteer opportunities. Zeapod Cakery will be selling concessions during the event.
