THE WOODLANDS, Texas – iFLY Indoor Skydiving in The Woodlands is opening its arms once again to the local community as it hosts a special VIP reception for sponsors of the upcoming Special Angels of The Woodlands “Touched by an Angel” banquet. The event will take place Tuesday, March 29, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The guests will be treated to an evening of fun, food and flying. Special Angels of The Woodlands is a God-honoring organization committed to enhancing the lives of adults with intellectual disabilities, with a strong emphasis on both enjoying and serving the local community. Their annual banquet is a local event that raises awareness and funds. The reception at iFLY is designed to thank those who have so generously donated to the cause.

Each guest will also receive an indoor skydiving package. Each staff member at iFLY has been trained to work with patrons with special needs; in fact, studies have shown that the indoor skydiving experience frequently has positive effects on people with autism and other intellectual conditions.

iFLY not only provides a skydiving experience for ages 3 to 103 that’s safe and exhilarating, it also has conference room facilities for corporate and social events available for rent. Jennifer Forrester, general manager, encourages individuals, organizations and corporations alike to come visit their location at 26860 Interstate 45-N in the Oak Ridge North area at The Woodlands to experience a skydiving package or host an event.
