Memorial Day Weekend in The Woodlands

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Memorial Day Weekend in The Woodlands, presented by Wells Fargo, is scheduled to take place Saturday, May 28, and Sunday, May 29, 2016, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Town Green Park, located at 2099 Lake Robbins Drive. Each night, the festival will feature fireworks presented by America’s ER, live music, children’s activities, guest speakers, strolling entertainers and more.

Memorial Day Weekend in The Woodlands pays tribute to all military service men and women who lost their lives while serving the United States, and honors local veterans who serve as a symbol for those who paid the ultimate sacrifice of life to protect our freedom.

The two-day festival will include live music by Leslie Krafka, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, the Buck Yeager Band and Big Slick. Each night following the concert, a dazzling fireworks display choreographed to a patriotic soundtrack will light up the night sky over The Woodlands Waterway, weather permitting.

In addition to great live music and fireworks, activities including inflatables, face painting, balloon art and strolling entertainers, can be enjoyed. Families are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs. Concessions will be available for purchase from a variety of food vendors.

Memorial Day Weekend in The Woodlands is presented by Wells Fargo and sponsored by America’s ER and The Woodlands Development Company. It is produced by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department.
