THE WOODLANDS, Texas-- Lonnie Madison came out with a bang in the 2018 season, already achieving the same number of wins as the 2017 season. Madison and his Cavaliers look to keep the winning ways rolling as they take on the 1-1 Generals from MacArthur Friday night at Woodforest Bank Stadium.

Wayne Crawford and the MacArthur Generals have had relatively new ties to the program. With it being Crawford’s first year as head coach the Generals have already surpassed the bombs from the last five years with coach Garza who only registered 13 wins for the Generals. Senior wide receiver Armando Ordenana should is that guy for the Generals, he understands the secondary coverages, has good hands and in traffic can burn you with speed. Sophomore starting quarterback Rashaun Jackson is a lightning bolt of energy, and he should keep things interesting as he won the starting job over a junior and senior.

The Woodlands College Park will look to keep things perfect as they play this Friday at Woodforest Bank Stadium, trying to defend their home turf. Junior Josh Bankhead is a 6 foot 6 blocking machine who just committed to the University of Texas A&M so look out for him to make big plays for the offensive line. Bankhead will be looking to keeping his stock high and his quarterback Jake Hunnicutt from touching the turf.

Jake Hunnicutt seemed to have another impressive game August 31, 2018, as he went 8 for 10 with two touchdown passes against Aldine Davis, nearly perfect start for the senior quarterback. Qajon Charles put on a phenomenal performance as he scored two touchdowns and gained an incredible 131 yards August 31, 2018, in the Aldine Davis game, look for him to have a quick start and pick up where he left off.

The battle of who wants it more for their season is on the line, two programs that could go on to have a game-changing season.
