THE WOODLANDS, Texas – The fall season is on its way, and it’s time to experience all The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department has to offer. Drop-in camps, aquatics, tennis, kayaking, paddle boarding, fitness, holiday activities and special events are just some of the programs found in the fall Action Guide for 2016. Due to the growing popularity of many of these programs, early registration is encouraged.

The fall Action Guide is now online with information on a variety of programs, classes and camps offered this fall, along with all the registration information needed to participate. Registration for fall 2016 programs opens August 8, 2016.

Available in fall, spring and summer editions, the Action Guide is the ultimate reference for the many activities available in The Woodlands that appeal to just about every age, interest and budget. The online version of the guide is live on the Township website, www.thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov/actionguide, and the print version of the fall Action Guide will be a pull-out section of the September 2016 issue of The Woodlands Community Magazine, mailed to all homes in The Woodlands.

For those unfamiliar with the registration process for these programs, The Woodlands Township Recreation Center staff is happy to help. Whether it’s setting up online accounts, assisting with registration or just answering questions, please feel free to call 281-210-3950, email recreation@thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov, or stop by the Recreation Center at 5310 Research Forest Drive, The Woodlands, Texas 77381.
