Ed Ziegler joins The Woodlands Young Learners Academy

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Woodlands Young Learners Academy recently welcomed Ed Ziegler to their team as the Assistant Director.

“Ed brings a tremendous skill set to The Woodlands Young Learners Academy,” said Dan Altom, Director of Operations. “His experience is a welcomed addition.”

Ed graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business from Texas A&M University. Prior to joining the team Ed worked with Trinity Episcopal Church, University of Houston and Human Resource Connection. Ed is an MS150 Fundraiser Cycling Tour Team Captain, Dragon Boat Team Captain and Camp Allen Summer Camp Session Director. Mr. Ziegler resides in The Woodlands with his wife Katy and two children.

About The Woodlands Young Learners Academy

The mission of The Woodlands Young Learners Academy is to provide each child and their family the foundation for a successful long-term academic experience by creating a safe, nurturing and thought-provoking learning environment, while instilling values, peer interaction and socialization aptitude in an atmosphere where curiosity and exploration are both encouraged and embraced.

The Woodlands Young Learners Academy staff, parents and students participate in two philanthropic projects a year. The goal is to provide a vital bridge between home and school and to further improve the quality of the educational experience for all of the children. The Woodlands Young Learners Academy was founded in 2007 and is locally owned and operated. Students may start as young as 18 months and continue through private kindergarten. Theme-based educational instruction and activities include The Applied Mathematics & Science Institute, The TWYLA Presidential Library, TWYLA City Music Hall & Theater, Bold’s Gym and TWYLA Technologies.
