THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Deborah Kaschik, co-founder and president of The Woodlands Young Learners Academy, is proud to announce that the students, teachers and staff are again collecting toys to support children impacted by the Interfaith of The Woodlands Holiday Toy Drive. The Interfaith Holiday Toy Drive is a collaborative effort to make the holidays special for the underprivileged, and made possible by Interfaith of The Woodlands, The Woodlands Fire Department, and all local chapters of the National Charity League.

“Our students, teachers and staff are able to make a profound impact on the less fortunate around us through the Interfaith Holiday Toy Drive,” said Kaschik. “It is not just a tradition for us; it is a blessing. We are thankful to be able to teach our children not only to give intentionally year-round, but also to help make the holidays brighter for others.”

The Woodlands Young Learners Academy is collecting new, unwrapped toys between now and December 13. Parents are asked to bring a gift that would be appropriate for their own child’s gender and age. Gifts of wrapping paper will also be accepted. Families benefitting from the toy drive will be given the opportunity to choose a gift that suits their child and then wrap it themselves.
