Young Learners Group to Light It Up Blue on April 2 to support Autism Awareness

THE WOODLANDS, Texas - Throughout the month of April, Young Learners Group will be supporting World Autism Awareness Day. Coming together with thousands of organizations, all over the world, to Light It Up Blue! On April 2nd, each of their three facilities will deck the halls in blue with lights, decor, handprints and puzzle pieces. Staff, parents and students have all been encouraged to wear blue tomorrow to show support. In addition everything about tomorrow will be BLUE! Blue food, blue milk, blue sand play, blue toys and lots of puzzles. The children, at all three centers, will be surrounded by blue activities all day long! In addition, Young Learners Group will be participating in ‘Kids and Coins for Autism’, an initiative where students will have the opportunity to collect coins to help those affected by autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Their support will help raise funds toward public awareness, safety from wandering, bully awareness, family crisis assistance, job training, housing and research. By participating in Kids and Coins for Autism, students learn that they can make a difference in the lives of others.
